Thanks to the work of local ecologists and volunteers, the right conditions are being restored for insects and small mammals to thrive - species once missing from this stretch of urban river. And with them return larger predators such as kestrels and kingfishers.
This river is on a journey of renewal - showing how people working together can bring life back to our rivers and parks, even in the heart of the city. A true Reason To Be Hopeful. 🌱
